The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) will host the first NATO Edge conference from 25 to 27 October 2022.
Over the last 15 years, the NCI Agency has fostered two successful events – the NATO Information Assurance Symposium (NIAS) and the Agency’s flagship industry conference, NITEC. This year, as we celebrate the Agency’s 10th anniversary, we are introducing NATO Edge, which combines these two conferences to bring a new flagship technology event for business and political leaders.
“After two years of disrupted events, we are delighted to present a new and redesigned conference. NATO Edge will take the most valuable elements of NIAS and NITEC to create one must-attend event for industry, the NATO enterprise and Nations alike,” said NCI Agency General Manager Ludwig Decamps.
This year’s conference theme is “Technology in Focus.” This event will centre on the technology, and the collaboration and partnerships, needed to future proof the Alliance. Following on the heels of the NATO Summit in Madrid, NATO Edge will feature discussions on the Agency’s work on emerging and disruptive technologies (EDTs), which include artificial intelligence (AI) and data.
NATO Edge will gather industry, start-ups, academia, as well as national and NATO representatives, to discuss the most pressing tech topics. The Agency will also present its upcoming business opportunities for industry and not-for-profit organizations to learn more and ask questions.
Attendees can expect an interactive event comprised of distinguished keynotes and panels, breakout sessions and networking opportunities. An exhibition will highlight innovations in the private sector from across the Alliance.
