EMX Powertrain is an independent Dutch electric technology company and contributes to the worldwide sustainable powersport industry. EMX designs, engineers, and builds high-performance electric powertrain solutions, prototypes and production vehicles.
We are specialised in the engineering and production of complete electric drivetrains for motocross, enduro, trial, utv (side by side), atv, quad, light all-terrain vehicle, light utility vehicle and amphibious all-terrain vehicle for street legal as well as non-street legal application.
EMX has developed a scalable electric powertrain technology, enabling efficient and customer-specific application to be developed in a wide power range. This means lower inventory costs, volume advantages and standardization in production for the customer. Our technology is characterised by its compact design, high energy density, high reliability, low weight and high efficiency. Additionally, we have deep knowledge and experience in the development of chassis construction, transmission and drive unit.
We are a turnkey provider from a blank sheet through to low volume production, enabling us to significantly de-risk and accelerate new products for our customers. From global OEMs to start-ups, we apply an identical process to deliver and integrate high performance electrical powertrains for the highest of standards.
We develop and produce the applications, sub- and basic components in the Netherlands and distinguish ourselves by a short lead time of prototyping and development of these components. Our partnerships mainly consists of selected Dutch and European strategic partners and suppliers.
