ArenaRED offers a dual fuel conversion kit to enable any diesel engine to run on sustainable CO2-neutral fuels like methanol or ethanol. These fuels behave like gasoline and can be put in the existing diesel tank.
Current status
The application has been successfully realized on the river ship MTS Argonon equipped with Caterpillar 3500 engines. Running world’s first RCCI combustion strategy resulting in ultra clean emissions, increased efficiency and reduced engine noise.
